Saturday deliveries may be possible for some smaller items at an additional cost and will be dependant on weight and postcode area.

We regret We are unable to give timed deliveries.

Subject to availability; delivery will normally be 1 – 5 working days from the confirmation of order for smaller items. Most domestic appliances are normally delivered directly from the manufacturers. We will do Our best to ensure delivery within 30 days of Your order. We shall not be liable for loss due to a delay in delivery arising out of reasons beyond Our control.

Accepting The Delivery
All Goods must be signed for on delivery by an adult of at least 18 years old. If You are unable to accept delivery on the agreed date You must notify Us by e-mail or telephone at least 48 hours before the planned day of delivery. If You do not notify Us within this time, or the items have already been dispatched, a failed delivery fee may become payable this would equate to a further delivery charge. Thereafter You are required to contact us to rearrange delivery.

Any shortages must be clearly marked on the delivery docket at the time of delivery by entering the number of parcels received and the number missing. Any losses or discrepancies which should have been obvious at the time of delivery without opening the packaging which are notified later and not recorded at this point will not be considered.

Please note: On occasions deliveries will be made on pallets and the customer is responsibile for the disposal of the pallet should the delivery driver leave it.

Installation/ Asbestos
The working area must be free of Staff/ Pupils whilst any installation is taking place. The area must be clear of students/ staff at the agreed time, failure to do so will incur extra costs. The asbestos register must be available of inspection prior to ALL installations. If the register is not available or inaccurate KPMS will not be responsible. The School/ College will be responsible for the disposal of packaging unless otherwise agreed

We shall not be liable for any fault caused by incorrect installation or installation by non-qualified persons.

Where a product has been installed by KPMS and a scaffold tower has been used, should a fault occur and KPMS need to revisit a callout charge/equipment hire would apply.

Manufacturer’s Guarantee
Wherever possible goods supplied by Us are subject to a manufacturer’s guarantee and to the best of Our knowledge comply with all applicable legislation. This will usually cover the appliance for parts and labour for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated in the manufacturer’s product information.
Please note the warranty period may be less than 12 months for specific product types and You are advised to check this prior to purchase. These Terms and Conditions do not affect Your statutory rights.

Faulty and Damaged Items

Damaged In Transit Items (Rejected)
In the event that Your order is visibly badly damaged on delivery, do not accept the delivery and enter on the driver sheet “damaged” along with a brief description of how or where the item is damaged. Ask for and retain a copy of the delivery sheet before returning the goods with the carrier along with the original packaging to prevent further damage.

You must Inform us of any damages within 24 working hours of delivery to enable a swift replacement or refund.

Damaged in Transit Items (Accepted)
If You do happen to accept delivery of goods and discover they are damaged, DO NOT USE THE GOODS. You must inform Us via phone or e-mail within 24 working hours of the date of receipt describing the damage in as much detail as possible, photographs are often a good way to communicate specific damage. To use the goods will be construed as Your acceptance and will restrict Our ability to replace or refund You for the item. You must retain all original packaging.

PLEASE NOTE: For courier companies to accept liability for damage caused in transit We must inform them of any damage within 24 hours of delivery. Therefore, You are required to inform Us within this time period. Any claims made after this time but within 5 days will be subject to Our discretion and thereafter any such claims will be considered unreasonable.

Goods Faulty on Arrival
If Your goods are faulty i.e. “dead on arrival”, You have 7 days to inform Us of the fault via phone or e-mail. When the fault has been verified, You are entitled to a replacement or repair of the goods, or where this is not possible or would result in disproportionate cost to Us, a refund via Your original payment method. If You choose to claim a refund We will issue this once the items have been returned with all accessories and instruction manuals.

Defective/ Faulty Goods
If Your appliance develops a fault or becomes defective and is within the stated warranty period, the following procedures will apply.

If a fault occurs after 7 days of the delivery date the normal manufacturer warranty will apply. In the first instance contact the manufacturer to assess the fault and offer assistance in rectifying the problem. If this does not lead to a satisfactory conclusion You may contact Us via phone or e-mail and We will arrange an inspection to determine whether repair, replacement or a refund is deemed fit.

Trouble shooting
Should You encounter a problem with the item purchased We recommend that Your first port of call is to consult with the instruction manual supplied with the product, as many appliance manuals contain a wealth of information and trouble shooting advice.
If no solution is found please contact Us or the Manufacturer.

TFT/LCD Monitors and televisions
The screen on TFT/LCD displays is made up of a fixed number of thousands of tiny pixels. A 15″ flat-screen for example, has 786423 pixels. Each pixel comprises of three sub-pixels (red, green and blue). Therefore on the 15″display above, there’s almost 2.4 million dots in total. Behind each pixel is a transistor and when a transistor fails it manifests itself as a bright, dark or coloured dot on the screen that stands out from the others.

Production techniques do not guarantee a fault-free screen display and buyers should be aware of imperfections (i.e. a few pixels may be constantly lit or unlit) before ordering a TFT/LCD display. There is an accepted ‘tolerance level’ for each manufacturer by which TFTs may display such imperfections (or stuck pixels) which does not constitute an item as faulty.

Disclaimer
Should any product supplied by Us develop a fault at any time, We cannot accept any liability for losses incurred, either business or personal, including loss of data occurring as a direct or indirect result of any of the fault.

Refunds and Replacement Items
Where a replacement or refund has been deemed appropriate, this can only be processed once the original goods are returned to Us in their original state and condition. All instruction manuals, accessories and cables must also be back in Our possession or the cost of replacing such items will be charged to You.

Goods ordered in error can be returned to us for refund but may be subject to a re-stocking fee and where applicable less any carriage charges incured by ourselves

Retention of Title

All equipment supplied/ installed remains the property of KPMS until paid for in full
